When Galveston's oldest and largest law firm, Greer Herz and Adams, wanted to update their web presence after Hurricane Ike, we were there to make repairs.
Galveston, Texas is a resilient city. It's been through hurricanes and recessions but has remained as a thriving tourist town and the gateway to one of the largest ports in the country.
Like the city in which it was founded, Greer Herz and Adams (GHA) exemplifies consistency and calm in the storm. Unfortunately, their website was not demonstrating that or doing much else to set them apart from other law firms; firms that had not been around half as long or survived as much.
When we first began working with GHA, their concerns were simple. They wanted a good looking website that fit who they were. They wanted better organization and they wanted a partner who could not just help deliver on this but who could help them maintain this presence afterward.
GHA wanted to emphasize the fact that they were founded in Galveston while still demonstrating their strong ties to Houston and the entire Gulf Coast community. It was important to them that their image reflected the tough character of Galveston, but also showcased the fact that the firm was as grounded in the present as they are rooted in the past.
Our approach was a clean, spare website that focused on content and imagery from their surroundings. In addition to designing the new website, we were enlisted to re-write their content. We condensed and re-organized the bios for each attorney into bullet points and re-wrote their practice area and other content.
Lastly, we shot photos in Galveston for use throughout the website. We continue to maintain and host their website...and make repairs when needed.
